Another great suggestion from one of our members. Create an S2 database. Too many times as our Soldiers move from place to place, they show up and the standard is different for how they assist Soldiers preparing to PCS or go on leave.
Imagine a database where all the required information for that Soldier to go on leave or PCS knowing they have the Peace of mind, that they have the correct paperwork and won't be turned around at the gate after traveling thousands of miles.....we've seen it happen folks.
What about possibly keeping a photograph on file of the Soldier in case something happens....this is just one possibility, E4 and below usually don't have a photo on file readily available like your NCOs and Officers.
How about if you were able to track when a security clearance was due for renewal....sure you have a system to look this information up, bet it doesn't do very well at keeping track and things fall through the cracks for many of you.
This would be a great system to help better manager your unit security functions.
